What you get

A free tool for producing photos to published document requirements, and a reference library describing those requirements. No account, no payment, no subscription.

No guarantee of acceptance

We produce a photo that matches the measurements the issuing authority publishes, as we understand them on the date shown on the page. We cannot guarantee that any authority will accept a photo. Acceptance is always their decision, and it can turn on things no software can judge.

Check the requirements against the authority's own page before you submit, particularly for a paid or time-critical application. Every country page links to its sources for exactly this reason.

Accuracy and limits of liability

We work hard to keep the templates correct and we show you where each number came from and when it was checked. Requirements still change without notice, and mistakes are possible.

The service is provided as it is, with no warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a rejected application, a missed deadline, a travel cost, or any other loss arising from using this site. If you think a number is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Acceptable use

Use the tool for your own documents or for someone you are helping. Do not use it to produce photos for a fraudulent identity document, and do not attempt to disrupt the service or to strip the advertising that pays for it.

Changes

These terms may change as the service changes. The date at the top shows when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
